Starting a blog to create a new ME!

This isn't my first attempt at blogging, but it is the first time that I'm going to attempt to make friends in the blogging world!

Yeah, you guessed it-- this is a weight loss blog. I'm a 21 year old college student, and let me tell ya-- being fat in college SUCKS.

A little bit about me:

My name is Katie.
I'm fat, haha.
I'm a little over 5 feet tall.
And I weigh 240 pounds! OH MY GOSH!

But that is because of mistakes I've made in the PAST. And today is the first day of my FUTURE.

I'm extremely shy, and I have NO friends. Zero. Besides my family. I am terribly ashamed of being overweight. I stay inside my apartment, and never leave-- besides class, which I often skip out of embarrassment! I'm tired of living this way! I may be fat, but I'm human. And I deserve to be happy too! Right?

So, I hope to start searching all of the other weight loss blogs, and maybe gain a few friends along the way! We can do this together!

  1. Welcome... I think you will like the weight loss bloggers they have been a great motivation for me.

  2. Welcome to the blogging community. I started WW recently and although my blog is not a weight loss blog, I am starting a transformation as well.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're so hard on yourself. You need to love who you are during the process, no matter what the scale says.

Personally, I weigh more than you. I was married to a very shallow man and got divorced because I gained weight during the marriage (I ate because I was unhappy)....several years later, met my wonderful husband and purposely met a man that loved ME as I am. I figured if I loved me at the current why wouldn't I want to marry someone who felt the same?

  3. Wow! Hey I started out at 245! I also have no friends. I have a boyfriend that I moved 3000 miles to be with but thats basically it. I miss having FEMALE friends. Ill give you a shout out on my blog to get you some more followers. I know how motivating it can be when you start to see a lot more comments.

  4. Welcome to the best community out there to make friends on your weight loss journey! You'll find the best support, a few chuckles, and lots of encouragement! I hope you find that this time, you have the success you want!!
